Te Hohepa Kohanga Reo sets out to be a new typology for Maori early childhood learning. Orientated along the rising and setting sun on a North-South and East-West axis, each space has a special relationship to te Rā, the sun. A central courtyard provides a warm nuturing outdoor environment full of light and colour.
